Press Release Policy
How we distinguish press releases from independent editorial content.
Disclaimer: Press releases published by The World Standard are paid or submitted announcements reviewed for basic standards. They are separate from The World Standard's independent editorial reporting.
What Are Press Releases?

Review Process
All press releases are manually reviewed before publication:
1.Submission: Organization submits press release through our submission portal.
2.Review: Our editorial team reviews the submission against our guidelines.
3.Decision: We approve, request edits, or reject the submission.
4.Publication: Approved press releases are published with clear labeling.
Pricing and Payment
Press release publication currently follows a manual, case-by-case pricing model. Pricing depends on length, category, visibility options, and promotional placement.
Payment and publication process: Organizations submit requests, we provide pricing, and if accepted payment is required before our editorial review and publication workflow begins.
Important: If a submitted press release is rejected after payment, we follow standard refund procedures. Contact press@worldstandardnews.com for current pricing and payment information.
Labeling Standards
Every press release is marked with a "Press Release" label and includes:
- •Clear identification as a press release (not editorial news)
- •Organization name and media contact information
- •Publication date and time
